Presentation
The first phase of the restoration of the bell tower of the Collegiate Church of Saint Thomas of Canterbury is complete. To mark the occasion, the Archery and Valois Museum is offering the exhibition Saint Thomas of Canterbury, Stone & Spirit. This gives visitors the opportunity to discover this remarkable building in Crépy-en-Valois while meeting the saint whose name it bears, Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury.
Through this dual theme, the museum offers a journey through the history of the collegiate church from its origins to the present day, and links its history to that of the martyred archbishop. Graphic and painted works, bas-reliefs, sculptures and other surprises will punctuate the visit thanks to works from our collections, enriched by loans from our partners.
A rich program around the event is also offered throughout the duration of the exhibition: conferences, guided tours, activities for children, etc.
