Museum Overview
This 8th edition of the Marcel Proust Musical Days will take place at the Château d'Ermenonville, on October 9, 10 and 11, 2026, on the theme "Proust and Cinema" with Camille Saint-Saëns as guest of honor.
This cultural day offers an immersion into the heart of history and heritage, through a rich and varied itinerary blending urban exploration, nature, and a cinematic perspective. Conceived as an educational and convivial interlude, it invites participants to explore the region from different angles.
From the historic center of Senlis to its iconic landmarks, via a literary route connecting nature and inspiring landscapes, each stop reveals a facet of the local heritage. Between guided tours, narrated walks, and moments of sharing, this experience is for all those curious to learn more while enjoying a pleasant setting.
Accompanied by passionate guides, this day offers a lively and accessible approach to the history, culture and places that have shaped the territory.
IN THE PROGRAM :
- 9:30am-13pm: Guided tour of old Senlis with a film screening in the city
-1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Lunch at the "Chez Nous" restaurant in Senlis
-15pm-17:30pm: Guided walk on the Writers' Trail, which connects the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Park to the Chaalis Estate
