What if Sergio Leone had had the idea of working with Marcel Marceau...?
In the style of cartoons, pantomimes and cinema, Wanted plays with clichés associated with the good old western.
Actress Lorraine Brochet embodies all the characters, but without a single word, from the proud sheriff to the bloodthirsty bandit, including the banker, the prisoner and the femme fatale; while Barnabé Gautier provides the sound effects and the soundtrack, in perfect synchronization: one carries the body, the other the voice and together they become one.
A parody set in the Wild West, certainly funny, but where our two cowboys also subtly tell another story, their own, a slightly tragic one…
