Museum Overview
The French-Brazilian artist blends her voice and cello with the harmonies of a string quartet.
A luminous concert, an enchanting interlude…
Brazilian singer, cellist and songwriter Dom La Nena has imposed her sweet and poetic melodies during the more than 200 concerts she has given around the world, notably in duo with singer Rosemary Standley (Birds On A Wire).
For this concert, she tunes her cello in unison with a string quartet (two violins, a viola and a second cello) and revisits her entire repertoire, specially rearranged into a vibrant dialogue between the strings, where her songs of yesterday and today respond to and reinvent each other.
From this delicate weaving emerges a multi-voiced conversation, elegant and profoundly human; a return to the sources of great sensitivity, a musical journey on the thread of emotions.
