Departing from the center of Ermenonville, this hiking loop, accessible by bike, invites you on a getaway combining nature, culture, and a change of scenery. Stroll through the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Park, a true romantic haven created by the philosopher, before crossing the Ermenonville Forest. The path then leads you to the Mer de Sable, an amusement park themed around the Conquest of the West, located in the heart of the Ermenonville Forest. Continue your walk to the majestic Domaine de Chaalis. An unforgettable stroll in the heart of a region steeped in history and poetry.

Do you know the Green Way?
On foot, on horseback, by bike, or even on rollerblades or scooters, discover the Pays de Valois in a different way. From Ormoy-Villers to Mareuil-sur-Ourcq, villages, forests, and fields follow one another along this 18km-long, fully secured route.
Opened in 2017, the Voie Verte is a trail that follows the old railway line between Ormoy-Villers and Mareuil-sur-Ourcq. This route is ideal for a peaceful stroll, without motorized vehicles. Picnic tables are also available, allowing you to enjoy the bucolic setting. The route, which is mostly flat and safe, is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Families with children, athletes, and those who enjoy leisurely strolls can all enjoy it. The peace and quiet that reign along the Voie Verte make it an ideal place to recharge your batteries and enjoy the outdoors.
